- Book dinner ahead. Late June–July is peak season — reserve the standouts a day or two out, especially the dark-card picks.
- Meal times. Lunch runs ~12–2, dinner from ~7:30. Several spots close one weekday — noted on the card.
- Mountain huts are seasonal & weather-dependent. Check they're open before you set out, and carry some cash — signal is patchy up high.
- Book the big lifts. Seceda, Dantercepies, Lagazuoi and the Falzarego cable car save the legs and the queues.
